The Surgical Technology program equips individuals for a career in the dynamic environment of the operating room. As advancements in technology continue to evolve, there remains a consistent demand for skilled surgical technologists who are committed to lifelong learning.

This program spans eleven months and culminates in a certificate, during which students will be eligible to take the National Certification examination prior to graduation. Participants will acquire knowledge in essential areas such as aseptic technique, scrubbing, gowning, gloving, patient positioning, preparation, draping, instrumentation, back table setup, sterilization, disinfection, vital signs monitoring, Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Terminology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, and the theoretical aspects of Surgical Technology.

Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be prepared to take the national certification exams administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) and the National Competency Center for Testing (NCCT).
