Carver Career Center’s Industrial Robotics Class is a Certified Education Training Center for FANUC and students will earn a Fanuc Certification in Handling and Programming The hands-on, lab-based courses are designed to create an entry into the Industrial Robotics workforce and to prepare students for collegiate studies in Advanced Manufacturing and various engineering fields. Students will also gain the knowledge to be able to sit for a second N.O.C.T.I. Certification in iRVision and Roboguide.

 

Within this program, students will be introduced to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for manufacturing and introduced to the uses of 3-axis CNC machines. 

 

The robotics program is designed to teach students to be able to sit for the FAA Part 107 Drone License Test. This course covers rules and regulations, the ethics of flying a Drone, and piloting skills. Students will learn to manually and autonomously pilot drones under 55 lbs, emphasizing different types of land and structural surveying. 

 

This course is built for students who are both new to robotics and those who have a background in robotics while emphasizing creative thinking and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate your thoughts and ideas with each other.
