The Adult Culinary Arts program is a one-year commitment for students who are eager to learn culinary academics. This program provides the student with a unique combination of comprehensive theoretical knowledge and hands-on training to prepare them for careers in many widely-varied areas of the culinary industry.
The program's curriculum is carefully structured to meet the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation (ACFEF) standards. Students will learn different restaurant management skills through a limited number of National Restaurant courses such as Manage First Courses, Supervision Management, Purchasing, and ServeSafe.
Upon completion of the program, the student has the opportunity to gain national certification through the American Culinary Federation (ACF) as a Certified Culinarian or a Certified Fundamentals Cook depending on his/her work experience.
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to provide an opportunity for students to learn, practice, study, and explore the skills, techniques, concepts, and knowledge required to become a certified culinarian.
