Carver Career Center’s Collision Repair Technology class is accredited by the ASE (Automotive Service Excellence). After completion of the class, graduates are eligible to take the ASE exams.
This program is designed to teach shop production practices and knowledge of the parts of the auto body necessary to function as an entry-level collision repair technician.
Training in this program will enable you to gain employment in various positions such as: body shop and paint shop helper, automotive refinisher, auto body technician, fiberglass technician, salesperson of paint and body supplies, insurance appraiser, or auto body shop manager.
Through a simulated workplace, my program teaches students the importance of hard work, being on-time, and performance accountability. It also teaches them a trade that they can make a career out of; they can use it to work their way through college or use it as a backup if another career choice doesn’t work out.
