Agricultural Science

1 or 2-Year Agriculture and Natural Resources

This hands-on learning course is designed to provide college-bound students with the basic skills and knowledge of animal systems, plant systems, natural resources, and agribusiness systems as preparation for a higher education degree program. Work-bound students will acquire the basic skills and knowledge for entry-level work.

This program prepares students for college by helping them develop leadership skills. Students in the class will be practicing public speaking and career planning. If they are interested in any aspect of the agriculture industry, this program will give them a head start!

Agriculture is a broad field that a lot of students decide to go into after they graduate. Some students become groomers, work at state parks, or continue their education in agriculture-related fields.

"Agricultural Sciences is not just for those who wish to go into farming – it’s for anyone!"

Being in this program also means that you will be a part of the National FFA Organization, which comes at no cost to you! The National FFA Organization is one of the largest youth organizations in the US. It is dedicated to premier leadership, personal growth, and career success.
