Massage Therapy is a comprehensive 625-hour program that will follow a hybrid schedule. Classes will convene four days a week, supplemented by an online curriculum. This program aims to equip students with both foundational and advanced technical skills necessary to fulfill the licensure requirements of the State of West Virginia, thereby preparing them for careers as professional massage therapists. The discipline of massage therapy is a holistic field dedicated to enhancing individuals' physical and emotional health. Students will acquire an in-depth knowledge of massage therapy, incorporating traditional techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, and therapeutic modalities. The curriculum will include both classroom instruction and clinical experiences, allowing students to practice on each other as well as on clients seeking massage services. Upon successful completion of this program, graduates will be well-prepared to pursue employment in various environments, including private practices, physical therapy clinics, chiropractic offices, corporate or franchised spas, the sports industry, and luxury resorts.
