ProStart is a restaurant industry-driven curriculum developed by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation with input from thousands of restaurant professionals.
The ProStart Restaurant Management Program of Study focuses on the skills needed for successful employment in a restaurant environment but has applicability for students interested in culinary nutrition, dietary services, and child nutrition services.
The ProStart curriculum integrates performance-based learning with academics, entrepreneurship, and technology skills to prepare students for successful employment in the 21st Century.
Ezekiel Kibler is a Senior at Herbert Hoover High School and in the Baking & Pastry Program at Carver CTC.
