The Automotive Technology Course is a complete overview of automotive mechanical operations and the repair of all the components of cars and light trucks. Hand and power tool use is taught as well as the theory of operations of the various systems of vehicles including computer systems.
The Carver Automotive Technology program helps students to achieve the skills needed for entry-level employment as an automotive technician, work in the automotive parts business, work in the service writing field, or in car sales. A student that goes on to an automotive/diesel college will most likely grow in the automotive industry at a much faster rate than students who do not attend a technical school. Upon finishing Carver, the student will have the knowledge and skills needed to enter any automotive/diesel college with a basic understanding of all eight areas of gasoline-powered vehicles as they enter college or in-field employment.
